2007: John Austin Connolly

EDWARD ALBEE SELECTS JOHN AUSTIN CONNOLLY'S THE BOYS FROM SIAM

John is a retired clinical psychologist.  He lives in Dublin, Ireland with his wife and their five children.  John’s previous works have been showcased at the Kilkenny Arts Festival and the Dublin Temple Bar Arts Festival.  A recent story was short-listed for the 2007 Francis MacManus short story competition in Ireland.

The Boys from Siam is a haunting and lyrical story of the conjoined twins Pigg and Pegg.  The play is based loosely on the lives of the nineteenth-century brothers Chang and Eng Bunker (the original “Siamese twins”).
